Love Riot: A Teenage Call to Live with Relentless Abandon for Christ by Sara Barratt
5.0
At first glance, I thought, “Wow. Another Christian book for teens… ” Then I actually read Love Riot. It convicted, encouraged, and motivated me to pursue Christ with reckless abandon. This book is rooted in Biblical truth and rich in practical applications.
One of the things I love about this book is that it doesn’t talk down to you. Instead, it talks with you. Sara Barratt writes as a friend. She doesn’t make it seem like she has it all together. She passionately shares her struggles, hopes, and dreams for the future. You’ll never feel like you’re at a lecture, but rather at a Sunday afternoon coffee chat with a good friend.
I highly recommend this to the teen or even adult struggling with their faith. You won’t regret reading it!
