The Likeness by Tana French

5.0

This is the third book by Tana French I’ve read and every single one brought tears to my eyes. She just has such an impeccable way of capturing the pitfalls of human nature. That’s the only way I can describe her writing, excruciatingly human. I’m not sure why, maybe because it was easier for her to identify with her protagonist, but Tana French writing in a female voice just blows her other (fantastic) work out of the water. This is one of those mysteries you want to restart as soon as you finish it, now that you have the whole picture. You want to dig into all the little details that escaped you before. I 100% recommended this, even as a stand-alone.
