This was a book that I thoroughly enjoyed, but for various reasons, couldn't finish in one sitting (gasp!). Something always got in the way, but I was determined that life wouldn't get in the way of it, and I absolutely loved it. The big plot twist took me by surprise, and now I can't wait for the next book!! The voice is amazing, and I laughed aloud at times. I could hear Paul's voice as I read. Aicha is one of my favourite characters as well, and I loved every scene with her (most of the book). The other characters are all well realised and the world building is remarkable, the small changes from the real world are very realistic.
