I liked the mystery and the intrigue as well as the clear commentary on classism in academia. The prose was just too rambling for my tastes and the pacing was sort of odd. After the moment of climax towards the middle it all felt kind of jumbled, which I suppose was part of the point, but it just didn’t hit right.
