description

The last time I read a book by Jane Harvey-Berrick was almost four years ago. Coincidentally it was book #4 in the Traveling series. When Jane announced Gypsy I was very excited to get my hands on it because I love this series, and I looked forward to being reunited with all my favorite characters. Gypsy was a light, fun, and sometimes a little bit emotional contemporary romance. I love the carnival setting in books, and Jane does such a great job of creating an atmosphere that feels authentic.

Gypsy is an amazing character and I loved her positive outlook on everything. She and Huck were such a great match. Opposites really attract and that really showed in this book. Gypsy is free-spirited and Huck was very broody and hesitant to make long-lasting friendships/relationships. But Gypsy was just hard to ignore. The author really took the time with the development of their relationship. This book fits perfectly in the Traveling series and was in my opinion a beautiful conclusion to it. However, I secretly hope that the author will write another book in this series. I highly recommend this book if you want a bit lighter, magical, and romantic novel.
