Let me just start by saying that Ruth Ware is my favorite thriller author, by far. This book was a little bit different from her other books, in that it read much like an Agatha Christie story. I’m not usually a fan of mysteries like Christie, so it took me a couple days to get fully into the story. By the 50% mark, I was then hooked. I also don’t have any knowledge of skiing terminology, but still was able to enjoy the skiing details throughout this book. The ending was a bit predictable, but I enjoyed the unraveling of the plot nonetheless. I won’t say it was my favorite Ware book, but still enjoyable.
