Girl, Goddess, Queen by Bea Fitzgerald

I honestly loved this book so much that I can't wait to start The End Crowns All!
I loved how badass Persephone is in this book. She came into herself and her power as the book went on, and it was such a good plot.
I loved the banter between her and Hades and just how sweet Hades was in this retelling. I prefer this Hades to other books I've read, that's for sure!
The plot was so intriguing, and I was engrossed. It didn't take me too long to read this book, even if it was a chunk. I just really fell in love with all the characters (except Zeus). I liked how Persephone made friends with Styx and how she was also besties with Hades. It made it so much more fun.
It made me laugh a lot, but I was also annoyed in parts with how people expected Persophone to just fall into her 'place.' I'm so glad she didn't!
