Dyletri & Ismini: Fated Mates Who Brought All The Heat and Sensuality!- 5 Stars
Dyletri is the God of Lust and 14,000 years ago, he lost the love of his life. Feeling guilt over the fact, he makes a deal with the Fates, his lost love would return to him if he sacrificed a woman who had yet to be born. Armed with only her name, Dyletri waits those 14,000 years until the time comes for him to sacrifice. Enter: Ismini, a young woman who knows of her fate to be sacrificed and accepts it. What neither expect is for the sparks to fly before the deed is done and this puts them both on a course neither one anticipated.
Simply put, I loved this book. Never in my history of reading romance novels where there primary and secondary characters that I loved. I LOVED EVER CHARACTER. I'm not going to give away any spoilers but I will say the main plot was at the forefront and the secondary side stories were interesting and engaging and they didn't overshadow the main one.
We get to see Dyletri's struggle between the past and the present and we also felt Ismini's hurt and feeling of never being good enough in this life and hopes that her sacrifice to the Fates will finally give her some purpose. It's as tragically heartbreaking as it is beautiful. Together, these two are smokin' hot and their love scenes brought all sorts of heat. The Gods were actually Gods when it cane to that sexual energy!
This is a book that I heard little about that needs to receive some shine. So, I highly recommend it! knew 30% into the book that I was going to read the rest of this series and I cannot wait!
Happ reading!
