Fairy Tail, Volume 1 by Hiro Mashima
5.0
This is one huge volume collecting the first five manga of the series. With almost a thousand pages, and the size of an average textbook, this beast gave me hours of entertainment and kept me wanting to turn the page. It introduced all the major players of the early arcs of the series and ends on one heck of a cliffhanger. I loved this book. The art style is actually better than the show (in my opinion) and the translation notes at the end of each section are really useful. I love how the translator left the attacks in their original languages and even translated people's tattoos.
This was just overall fantastic. I can't even complain about the price because I got it from the library, and honestly, $40.00 is not bad at all for the quality and content of this master's edition collection.
