Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
3.0
I finished this page-turner in one day. The plot is like a Lifetime Original made-for-tv movie, which was the perfect thing for me to read today.
Initially, I thought the way each chapter jumped back and forth in time was gimmicky and made the story hard to follow, but I really enjoyed seeing the old Catherine evolve into present-day Catherine. There were times where I was incredulous about how Cathy's friends were acting towards her, but I guess that's one of many frustrations Catherine had to go through.
If you ever have to spend a day in bed or on the sofa because of an injury, this would be the perfect book to accompany you if you're into thrillers.
