Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
5.0
Reread 2021:
This book holds up so well. It has been six years since I first read Red Queen and I just had so much fun rereading it. I still remembered quite a lot of the important story points but I had a good time reading it especially knowing how the book ends.
Speaking about the ending, I think it is one of my favourite endings in a book.
I love the dystopian setting that feels like a fantasy. I love the schemes and alliances. Victoria Aveyard did a great job and I cannot wait to finally read the whole series this year.
First read 2015:
That was one heck of a ride. I need some time processing this amazing book.

Spoiler
I love the drama, I guess. But I also remember my first reaction to the betrayal back in 2015. It is that wonderful thing books can do. Make you gaps, scream. I like getting reactions like that. To me, it means it's a good book.I love the dystopian setting that feels like a fantasy. I love the schemes and alliances.
