The Kremlin's Candidate by Jason Matthews
I read the first novel in this series so intently, relishing in the detailed accounts of spy craft and different cities. But this one I skimmed past parts of obscure details simply eager to see what happened to Nate and Domi. I was rooting for them so this ending made me mad. I suppose it was never going to end any other way but I’m tired of all of the adult spy novels I’ve read ending in heartbreak and death. Bring back the Gallagher Girl school of plot, I say — negative outlook until a last minute HEA.
