I felt like I'd read this before the whole time I was reading it. Maybe it's just because I so recently read Sweet Heart by Peter James, which is very similar.

This is Herbert doing Magic. It's much, much more restrained and PC than others of his that I've read. It was nice not reading so much rape and racism. It was a little slow, but it was decent. I probably won't rush to read it again.
