Master of the Game by Sidney Sheldon

4.0

Wow that book feels longer than it is (in a good way). It definitely is different compared to today's thrillers. The first 3 parts are really setting the stage for the anxiety inducing 4th part where the granddaughters come into play. Quite the long setup; however, it does pay off for me. And the ending is a bit different than what you typically get in modern thrillers. I definitely enjoyed the audiobook; however, the narrator wasn't great. She was adequate to where I could listen without being too distracted.
