interesting premise, good writing style!

i feel like it started to lose momentum at the end and I don't think i liked the ending. and something about the portrayal of the repeated nuclear holocaust really rubbed me the wrong way. also i feel like there was a better ending for marcus slade (i think this was his name?? i'm bad at remembering names) than what happened. hmm.

one of the better sci-fi books i read recently but that's not saying a whole lot because so many sci-fi books are horrible
