This is a very specific book for a very specific time in life. It's chaotic, it's stressful, it's outlandish, but I also could understand the feeling for the most part. I also want to note that this book was not written for me as a straight white woman, and there are going to be portions that do not resonate with me and that is fine.

In the afterward by Caldwell, she writes, "As one reviewer in Weird Sister said, 'Women Isn't About Anything and It's About Everything."' and I could not agree more.
