I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review...and I'm thrilled that I got a chance to read and review because this book was Good, Good, Good!
This is the second installment of the Fallen Eagles MC books and it was a fantastic follow-up! You MUST read the first installment to really understand the backstory of the club and main characters. The Fallen Eagles are a veteran MC out of a small fictional town in Pennsylvania. This story focuses on the President and included a hell of a cast of characters. And while there is a romance blossoming in the story, it is not necessarily the central focus. The build-up, however, is amazing and I definitely caught the feels in certain parts. There are A LOT of characters, all with very interesting backstories alluded to, and I hope to see more from Ms. Birmingham about these guys and gals. This is not an outlaw club, so readers should not be ready for gritty 1%-type drama and criminal activity, but there is a family and brotherhood bond with this group that readers of MC books have come to know and love. All in all, I LOVED this book. I'm used to more fast paced, seedy MC books, but this quickly found a spot on my shelf of favorites.
