Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

4.0

First of all, I’d been waiting to check out the soundtrack for this book until I’d read the book. The website that the book directs the reader to is no longer valid, but I found I was able to listen to it for free thanks to my Amazon Prime membership—find it here:

The book:
I got into this faster than I normally do Hoover’s books; they usually take a little bit. And the feels are every bit as intense as they have been for some of her other works—eventually.

Character development is on point; completely advanced. The minute one is introduced to the reader, she’s laying the groundwork for who they are at their core.

The writing is expert, with 100% showing and no telling; this is a relief after struggling through so many authors who just tell lately.

4 stars.

Note:
I listened to the audiobook (thanks to my local library!). Narrator was okay, a 3-star performance.
