Whilst this novel had an interesting premise, I ultimately found it fell flat in the latter chapters, as if the author didn't quite know where to take it.
It started off well enough, with the former lone hold out on the jury from 10 years ago now working as a defence lawyer. A murder in her hotel room had her questioning how well the legal system actually works.
But the frankly ridiculous tale of her heading out into the desert and finding people nobody else had been able to find, and then the disparate bunch of former jurors agreeing on an even more ridiculous plan put me off reading anything more by this author.
