Couldn't stand the heroine. so, this was over before it started!

I really tried with this one. I got up to 51% when I just couldn't take any more.

The heroine was introduced to us as a very shy, immature, respectful young woman of 8 forced to marry a member of another crime family to bridge a gap and untie the families. I really liked her at first. As the book went on, I found her to be very manipulative. Further, the hero and his brothers, who were supposed to be mobsters talked more about relationships than they did actual business.

This just wasn't my cup of tea.
