This was a great YA enemies to lovers, teen angst read. Scottie has so many relatable feelings and I really loved the journey she took. I was also so excited that the enemies portion lasted about half of the book, it was a real thing we had to move through. I was happily surprised that the cast of the book was so diverse, especially since it took place in small town Georgia. What's really amazing is that this book speaks directly to a lesbian experience of youth, but doesn't limit the emotions or experiences to that of the LGBTQIA+ community.
