I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-hee

hopeful informative reflective sad medium-paced

I really enjoyed the raw honesty of the book. The way the author discusses such personal elements of mental health recovery and therapy and very often does paint herself in a realistic light, admitting the times where she was wrong and didn’t act the best. I thought that sharing such intimate details of therapy sessions was very brave, and it was a comfort to see myself in her story and know that I’m not always alone with how I feel and my mental health recovery journey.
