What a major disappointment! Not every Earth One book has been a knock out of the park, but they have all had elements that were cool and worthwhile. This book is garbage. The writing was a muddled mess; never feeling authentic and often coming off as nonsense. The origin does very little to feel fresh, instead it borrows elements from a bunch of Wonder Woman stories before it. Based on the dedications in the front, one would suspect that this book is supposed to be a feminist opus, but it is the total opposite. This is a prime example of two men creating a comic book about what they think is female empowerment and completely having their heads up their asses. What a missed opportunity to have a female team on this book. Or at the very least have it be a team of creators who have interacted with real women in life. This volume can be summed up in one word: terrible.
