Words cannot describe how much I love this book and this series. I’ve been obsessed with these families since reading Rixon Raiders and L.A Cotton never disappoints. L.A Cotton is the queennnn of tortured hero’s, sports romance and deeply emotional reads, no one can change my mind. Broken Ties follows Aaron and Poppy who have been best friends since childhood. They dance around their feelings their entire lives but it’s finally senior year and they’re tired of it. When I tell you IM OBSESSED I mean like I can’t stop thinking about these two ever. The chemistry, the angst, the pining, it was all unbelievably amazing. Their beautiful romance is intertwined with their own personal struggles and I LOVE that in a book. Despite every character being so different I found that I could relate to all of them.

As for Poppy, she’s a gymnast which was kinda of weird for me to read because I used to be a competitive gymnast
