Short Darkly humorous and gripping novel set in Nigeria. The story revolves around Korede, a nurse, and her younger sister, Ayoola, who has a habit of killing her boyfriends. Korede finds herself constantly covering up Ayoola's crimes, cleaning up the evidence, and protecting her sister from the consequences. As the bodies pile up, Korede is torn between her loyalty to her sister and her growing moral conflict.

“She does not cry for me,” he says, his voice hardening. “She cries for her lost youth, her missed opportunities and her limited options. She does not cry for me, she cries for herself.”
