This book was truly a great read for me because of the wonderful character development and the narrative surrounding the pressure that teen athletes, particularly girls, are under. Stella and Ellie are two girls who seem very straightforward and easy to categorize at the start of the novel, but with the introduction of Mila and having the story unfold you find that there is truly more to them and that’s what I loved about this story.
