The Magic Card written by Alina Mitrut, illustrated by Alla Zikh

A positive story about a young girl who finds a magic card to grant her ultimate wish for Christmas. Around this time, she finds that her best friend has to move away. This is a story about friendship, sacrifice, and generosity. My 9 year old really enjoyed this story. The illustrations were nice and sweet. This would be a great stocking stuffer! It’s small enough to fit a stocking but the story itself is elaborate enough to keep a reader occupied for a while.
