South: The Story of Shackleton's Last Expedition, 1914-1917 by Ernest Shackleton

adventurous challenging informative inspiring slow-paced

4.75

Shackleton's first hand account of how his expedition faired, is much better than his relay of how the Ross Sea party faired. All in all, an incredible tale of perseverance and grit. Frank Wild is the real MVP.
