The Secret Stealers by Jane Healey
5.0
This was a winner for me! Anna, the story's protagonist, is smart, brave, and determined. She is a very genuine and likable character, not only because she does amazing things, but also because she is written believably and relatably.
The story starts off a little slower and took some time to build up and lay foundation (that's not to say I didn't enjoy it - because I did enjoy it!), but once it got going, it was hard for me to put down!
I especially appreciated the author's note at the end, noting the real life inspiration many of the characters and events in the story were derived from.
