I loved the sisters and their interactions, but I'm afraid the hero ruined this book for me. Colin is a small town cop who's got a stick up his butt, a controlling nature, and a family history of abuse that leads him to treat the heroine in ways that end up being... not very okay. He repents at the end, but you'll have to forgive me for not taking it seriously when an abuser apologizes and promises to do better. I'll probably keep reading the series, but I hope Herron stays far away from cops in the future because I don't think she handled this one well at all.
