I am so happy this novel found me. What a wonderfully-wrought work of art! Speculative fiction/New Weird at its finest. It is never a superhero/antihero novel, or another dystopian novel, or not anything you can think of. It’s a beautifully-crafted narrative with the most memorable main character of this decade in genre fiction. I can’t speak enough to how much I enjoyed and was in awe of this story, this world, that ending (I usually abhor an ending such as this, and I will abstain from saying what type of ending that is because everyone should read this book!) - and I don’t want to be able to.
