It was a pleasant surprise to read a “glamorous” cozy mystery set at home, and McCourt also gets bonus points for crafting a clever murder mystery with no dead or missing girls. The pacing was a little off for me, though, and I think readers will enjoy this one more if they’ve read the previous book - Heiress On Fire - first.
