2.5 but rounding up. This book wasn’t my cup of tea and honestly I didn’t want to finish it but I struggled until the end. I am giving it 3 stars because it was beautifully written and the thought of the story line was ok but didn’t like it for the very same reason as of other people. I was not as triggered as many others had but was slightly annoyed at how this character battles with mental illness and the type of therapy he did and did not get. The main character was loved by so many but everyone took a hushed way of treating the main character and only gets help way later than should have happened. I did like the ending of the book but after the tornado of a story it better have a good ending. This was the first book I have read from this author and will have to think hard about if I want to read any of his other works.
