Delilah Green ma to gdzieś by Ashley Herring Blake

This was such a good romance, and everyone has been absolutely correct in recommending this constantly. If you want something mostly light, a little funny, and very hot - this is the book. I really enjoyed it.
The writing style was quite simple but it worked really well for this style of romance, it was easy to follow and made reading it quite a breeze. Though this is quite a long book considering it’s a romance, it was very easy to get through and didn’t take too long to read. It had great pacing, but the plot was a little lacking. We start with a plot that sort of gets lost halfway, but I liked the characters and just enjoyed following them anyways so that sort of picks it back up nicely.
Delilah and Claire were really great characters, I enjoyed them both so when they came together as a couple I was rooting for them so hard. They just clicked, had great chemistry, really funny conversations, and their relationship just felt so easy and it made sense. It also helped that both of them were ridiculously hot, I can’t decide which of them I loved more. They were very cute together and even despite some tiny bits of miscommunication, I liked watching their eventual pairing develop. This book absolutely nailed the including a child aspect without it being too overbearing or cringe for me, and that was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t even know there was a child involved in this book and had I known beforehand, I would have been so skeptical but it worked and was well handled.
I will say that there was no need for this book to be 400 pages (it’s mostly over by the 250 page mark) but I enjoyed it enough that it didn’t feel like it was dragging at all. I’d love to keep reading the other books in this series and explore more of the other characters we meet in this installment, they were fun!
