🎧 I was so looking forward to this one as it’s exactly my kind of storyline but it just didn’t live up to the thriller/suspense read it’s claimed to be. The chapters alternate between 3 characters - The Girl In The Shed, Emily and Cecelia. The storyline isn’t original but still had great potential but it lacked twists, suspense and it really veers on the unbelievable. It really felt uneventful along with not much explanation for why specific characters do what they do or how certain aspects came about. The outcome and explanation was really underwhelming. The characters needed more development. I can say I really took to any of them. It’s such a pity but unfortunately this one just didn’t work for me.
