I always enjoy Daniel Clowes - his style and creativity is so much fun to read. I loved how this book worked as literary fiction, coming of age, historical, and horror.
I did feel like her JOINING the cult unironically was a bit odd, and I felt like we needed to see more about that. The ending was wild, and I like it, but I wanted more!
