final thoughts: OMG what an emotional rollercoaster. A high-risk emotional read with lots of high reward for romance. Tate was so close to perfect, and the first half of their love story was almost flawless- I laughed, I swooned, I was kicking my feet. The second half was filled with so much angst, anxiety, pining, loss, and heartbreak and I sweat I went through all those emotions with Laurel.
Please be warned that the triggers are main plot points of the story and come up often so be aware of them, but if you can read anyway, this spicy read will be worth the tears!
