Really fun and quick read. I loved the authors connection of Karen, but tbh I didn’t really think there was a strong enough argument for a broader queer reading of Karen.
Moderate: Eating disorder
If you know anything about Karen Carpenter, you know that you can’t really read a book about her without a lot of anorexia chat. This book isn’t graphic or voyeuristic about it though.
