I don’t know how John Sandford almost always manages to keep me guessing until the end, but I’m so glad he does. The latest Virgil book didn’t have the typical chapters from the killer’s perspective and I think that helped keep the tension high - never knowing what the bad guy was thinking. I can’t wait for the next Prey novel in the spring!
