a group of teenagers (who are all a lil fruity) fight a mysterious demon illness while one falls in love with a ghost, the other with an emotionally unavailable human version of a cactus, another with a himbo, and the three others struggle with a bracelet, alcohol, and the impending gratification of scientific discovery. slay. 

out of all the shadowhunters books, the last hours has the best vibes in my opinion
