Gimme a Call by Sarah Mlynowski

Awesome cover ... story not so much.

Devi's life is a mess. She wasted three years going out with Bryan - blowing off her friends and barely studying. Now that Bryan has broken up with her, she has nothing left. Not even her cell phone. After she drops it in a fountain, it will only call one number. HER humber. At age fourteen, three years ago. Devi can't believe her luck. She can tell her younger self all the right things to do … because she's already done the wrong ones! If freshman Devi takes senior Devi's advice, they can hold on to their friends, get into a good - no, incredible - college, and most importantly, spare themselves the heartbreak of Bryan/ Except younger Devi isn't so sure. She likes Bryan. A lot. But who better to listen to than your future self … right?

The book sounds really cool but there isn't a climax in this book. : ( really, it's just all one flat line. BUT don't let this keep you from reading it, 'cause who knows, this could be your favourite book ever. This is just my opinion .... doesn't have to be yours too.
