Julian and Casimir continue to delight and amuse me! As always with Alice Winters' books, I laughed heaps and loved the audiobook.
Casimir is such a fun character! The ancient evil vampire who hates everyone but Julian and who takes delight in mildly torturing whoever he's decided has wronged him (goddamn Steve!) just for the fun of it, and who's also obsessed with his floofy dog and brushes him incessantly as stress relief.
And Julian! The loveable werewolf who can charm anyone and he's so funny and sweet but can be sassy af too.
This book delves into Casimir's past, while also letting the side characters get more space. The whole main cast of characters are so great and I hope we get to see more of this newly formed found family going forward
