Saber's Pride by C.M. Banschbach
5.0
When I read Greywolf's Heart (the first book in this duology), I was slightly disappointed to find out that Saber's Pride wouldn't follow the same main characters. I had my doubts that a story about the Saber tribe would be nearly as enjoyable.
I've never been more happy to be proven wrong!
I loved reading about Davor and Marta just as much as Comran and Etran—if not more. The tension and desperation in the Saber tribe really made for an interesting story. Perhaps it was due to the slower nature of the plot, but I felt like I got to know the whole cast of characters better than those in book 1, and got to learn more about the ways of the tribe as well.
My only complaint is that sometimes the dialogue and thought processes of the characters seemed a bit repetitive, but it wasn't enough to really bother me.
Oh, wait. I do have another complaint: There are only two books in this series. Why can't there be one more?
