I like this book, I love how, we as an Audience and as readers got to see the illusion of Blessing’s family life unfold before us, the strength of the women in this book, the tragedy that was Ezikiel’s short 15yrs and the eccentricity and stubbornness of Alhaji, I love it all. But most of all, I love the story Blessing told us. It’s a beautiful and sad one, and all too real in the present day, as we all still suffer under the hands of these oil companies and our government.
