When We Were Bright and Beautiful by Jillian Medoff

5.0

This novel was a book that I simply couldn't put down. I went into this book, thinking the blurb was telling me the whole story, but the story Medoff tells is about so much more than the blurb suggests. Twists and turns in the plot kept the story feeling fresh and had me invested until the very last page (or very close to it). The story is a quick read, but it's raw and powerful as well.

This is the first time I've read a book by Jillian Medoff, but it certainly won't be the last. She's an incredibly talented author and this novel is a prime example of that.
