Thanks to Tandem Collective for inviting me to participate in the read-along of The Black Bird Oracle. I'm feeling a little sad that it has come to an end.

The read-along focused on The Black Bird Oracle, which is the 5th book in the All Souls series. In this book, we follow Diana as she discovers her protector side of the family, spending a lot of time exploring her dark magic. Throughout the book, we also learn more about the backstory and have some lovely scenes with the twins, which really allows their characters to shine and sets them up for the future.

I felt that Matthew was more of a side character in this book, although we did get some spicy scenes. I also felt that there was so much hype about the twins' powers throughout the book, and it took a while to get to that point. In the end, it didn't have as much impact as I thought it would. Despite some slow moments, the book is a must-read for fans of the series, and the ending definitely left me wanting more.
