now that i’ve read this, i understand why i haven’t seen a single bad review for it. this is hands down one of the best books i’ve ever read. 

the writing is impeccable. the story is both heartbreaking and beautiful. 

as much as sloane and dominic broke my heart with what they have gone through, seeing them find love, security, and safety within each other was such a special experience. 

i also love how eric and sloane’s relationship was honored in this book. i appreciated the way j.l. seegars was able to give dom and sloane their own love story without having to erase the past.
