I had heard from some fans of this series that this book in particular was a bit slower than the others. I did feel that way with the first 50% of the book. It focused more on rehashing the first few books rather than adding in tons of new information. Once I got to the 70% mark, this book became so much more fast paced and I was hooked! My favorite thing about fantasy books is the political intrigue, and this book gave me that in the last half of it. I can’t wait to read the next one!
