This is a perfectly good addition to the cannibal exploitation style of horror. In that sense I enjoyed this more than most because at least it wasn’t as exhaustingly horny as other male authors tend to go. It’s fine.

While I enjoyed the mystery of the people who lived on the island I was very confused about the monster the entire time. It made it difficult to really envision.
