Western Waves by Brittainy C. Cherry

medium-paced

5.0

Western Waves is a heart-touching modern day Cinderella meets Beauty & the Beast that’s so emotional but absolutely beautiful. If I could rate this book more than 5⭐️ I would. We met Damien in Eastern Lights (Book 2) and I knew I needed to listen to his story. Damien is so grumpy and keeps his walls up at all times except when he’s around his best friend Connor. Let me just say that their friendship is my absolute favorite and their bond is unbreakable. We hear the story of how they met and I had instant tears 😭 Stella & Damien meet in the funniest of ways but it ended up being for a super sad occasion. They are now being forced to get married and stay married for 6 months. It’s cute that they thought it would just be for 6 months and that Stella’s relationship with Jeff would remain solid. Little did Damien know The Stella Effect would take place and he would turn from Beast to Prince in no time. Damien called her CinderStella and it’s so freaking cute. When I tell you this man has so much patience for this woman I’m not joking. In a way they were both a little broken but in the end they had each other and their love was a fairytale. I cried many times towards the end and I HIGHLY suggest this one. I think it would be great to read it physically but the audiobook was so good. I listened and highlighted the ebook so I had those to look back on.
